BlueStreak Math is a challenging yet fun-to-play educational game built to help educators, teachers and students around the world. It features an adaptive engine for differentiated learning, research-based quizzes and multiplayer modes, and lets parents and educators tailor each child's learning adventure with bespoke tutorials, notes, lectures and games. We built it to make rigorous maths practice feel like play.

The challenge

Making rigorous maths genuinely fun

Maths practice has to be rigorous to work, but rigour rarely keeps children engaged. The game needed to hold students' attention while adapting to very different abilities and giving educators real control over the learning path.

Our approach

Research first, then build

We grounded the design in research and live data so the adaptive engine could meet each student at their own pace, then wrapped that rigour in fast, game-like play. Educators and parents shape the experience with bespoke tutorials, notes, lectures and games, while a Unity and React build delivers the interactive gameplay and surrounding tools.
